Von's obituary
Von McCarter, born on September 19th, 1941, passed away peacefully on September 21st, 2024. A man of remarkable character, he was loved and respected by those who had the fortune of knowing him.
He leaves behind his beloved family member and love of life Betty Sutton and daughter Cynthia Gentry who will remember him as a beacon of strength and inspiration. His enduring legacy is etched in the hearts of those who love him and he will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any remembrances be made in Von's name to favored charities. May his soul rest in peace as his journey continues on the other side.
