Background
This elderly couple was living on a fixed income and couldn’t afford any home repairs on the single wide trailer they were living in. The gentleman passed away and now the elderly woman is left alone with several unpaid bills. She only receives $875 monthly on social security. They didn’t have life insurance or anything to help with expenses. The only insurance was a $3000 policy that’s signed over to funeral home to pay for cremation. The hvac doesn’t work, the stove doesn’t work, the refrigerator doesn’t work. She is in desperate need of home repairs.
