Viv's obituary
Vivian "Viv" Werner, fondly known as Viv, left us on October 19, 2024. Born on January 1, 1937, Viv lived a beautiful and meaningful life. She now joins her loving husband, Donald D. Werner, and her beloved parents, Edward and Audrey Krebs, as well as her sister Dorothy Dyer, who predeceased her.
Viv is survived by her cherished children, Kirk Werner and his wife Ida, along with her dear grandchildren Dustin (Mandy) Werner, Donald Werner, and beautiful great grandchildren Maya and Owen Werner. Every one of them held a very special place in Viv's heart. Her devotion to family was one of her greatest accomplishments.
A memorial service in honor of Viv will take place on November 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at 5989 Deerfield Rd in Milford Ohio. Later the same day, a Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 PM - 7:30 at the American Legion Post 450 located at 450 Victor Stier Dr. Milford Ohio. As we gather to remember Viv, we will celebrate her vibrant personality and treasure her many lessons of kindness, frugality, and love.
Viv was an outgoing, friendly, and loving soul. Blue was her favorite color – a reflection of her lively personality. A true connoisseur of life, Viv loved Frank Sinatra, savored the taste of salmon, and was a loyal supporter of the U.C. Bearcats team. Her favored local haunt was American Legion Post 450, and her preferred vacation destinations stretched from the colorful landscapes of Mexico to the serene beaches of Hawaii.
Viv was a passionate supporter of the American Heart Association, serving the cause with dedication and love. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. Her faithful companion and best friend, Inky, will miss her deeply, testament to her ability to love and care beyond human boundaries.
We cherish our beautiful memories of Viv and draw comfort from her teachings. Her spirit will continue to live on through her family and the love she spread. She will be greatly missed.
