A Message of Hope for Survivors of Human Trafficking, Domestic Violence, and Torture
Vivian Farid, the esteemed President of Haven International, recently departed to heaven, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication to helping others. Vivian dedicated the last years of her life to empowering survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and torture, providing them with the resources, support, and hope they desperately needed to rebuild their lives.
Haven International is a nonprofit organization that provides critical services to victims of these heinous crimes. We offer a lifeline to those who have suffered unimaginable trauma, offering a safe haven where they can begin to heal and rebuild their lives.
How Your Support Will Make a Difference:
In honor of Vivian's memory and to ensure that Haven International can continue its vital work, we are launching this memorial fund. All proceeds will directly support the victims including these critical areas:
• Healthcare:
Providing access to essential medical care, including mental health services, for survivors.
• Housing:
Supporting secure and stable housing options, including rent assistance, temporary shelter in apartments, hotels, and extended-stay facilities.
• Transportation:
Providing access to reliable transportation, such as vehicles, bicycles, scooters, and bus passes, to enable survivors to access essential services and regain their independence.
• Essentials:
Providing essential items such as laptops, tablets, cell phones, school supplies, food, household items, toys, and furniture to help survivors rebuild their lives.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Let us honor Vivian’s memory by continuing the vital work of Haven International and ensuring that survivors have the support they need to heal, thrive, and rebuild their lives.
