Virginia's obituary

Virginia Ruth Weatherlow

Wadsworth, Ohio- Virginia (Ginny, Sis) died Wednesday April 17, 2019 at the Inn at Coal Ridge where she had been a resident for the past 3 years.
Born in 1929 in Philadelphia PA, Virginia was the youngest of three daughters of Naomi and William Fox. She used her skills with shorthand and typing in her career as a secretary, retiring from Duxbury High School in Massachusetts where she worked as the guidance secretary.
Virginia will always be remembered by her creativity in all the arts: singing, tap dancing, painting, crafts and lip syncing . She was the happiest soul and spread her joy and humor wherever she went. After she retired she volunteered at her local food bank for 30 years and donated her time and money to many charity organizations.
She loved her family dearly and never ceased to keep them entertained with her songs and antics. She leaves behind Howard, her husband of 66 years; sister Kass Olivieri ,daughters Patricia (Richard)and Barbara (J.D.), adopted son, Brad, grand children Melinda (William), Luke and Claire (Ben). Also, two great granddaughters, Lillian and Naomi, nephews and nieces .
Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimers Association or your local food bank. Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
