Virginia "Ginnie" Sue Ray
Ginnie Sue Ray of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 68 at Dove Healthcare West, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 13, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Johnny and Lelea Couch (Ford).
Virginia, also known as "Ginnie," was a loving mother to her daughter, Johnna DeVall, her sons Ryan (Brianna) DeVall and Rusty Ray, 12 grandchildren, and a great grandson. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Gage Curtis.
She was a graduate of Truman High School in Independence, MO. Ginnie had a passion for playing board games, watching movies, and TV shows. She cherished spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved companion dog, Rosie.
A ceremony to honor and remember Ginnie will be held on April 26th, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Zion Christian Fellowship located at 11555 35th Avenue, Chippewa Falls, WI.
Ginnie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Orchard Hills/Dove Healthcare West for their care and support during Ginnie's final chapter.
