Virginia's obituary

Virginia Stevens, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and lifelong educator, passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2024. Born in Washington, D.C., Virginia spent her formative years in New Orleans, a city she cherished throughout her life.

Virginia dedicated nearly 40 years to teaching, leaving an indelible mark on the countless students whose lives she touched. Her passion for education was matched only by her unwavering generosity and kindness, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her.

She was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints and found great joy in cheering for her favorite team. Above all else, Virginia treasured her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Don; her two daughters, Beth and Anne; and her five grandchildren: Dylan, Caroline, Alexander, Zoey, and Collin.
