Virginia Naomi Pasin Olsen

Virginia, formerly of Sharon, Pennsylvania and member of Sacred Heart Church, graduated in 1952 from Brookfield High School and the School of Nursing in Cleveland in 1955. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from St Francis College in Joliet, Illinois.
She lived in Colorado since 1959, but she always said that she “was going home” on her frequent visits back east.
Virginia was born in Masury, Ohio, to Ernest and Elizabeth Pasin, Virginia attended Brookfield High School. She continued her education to become a nurse at Metro School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio formerly City Hospital, and received a B.S. from St. Francis University of Joliet, Illinois. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Parish and she is survived by her husband of 64 years, Donald, son Rick, wife Suzy, daughters, Wendy, Tammy, Amy, seven grandchildren: Danielle, Kyle, Amber, Shoam, Shawn, Emma, Christian, and two great grandchildren, Caleb, and Madison, and Kensey.
A memorial mass was celebrated at All Souls Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 12:00pm.
Memorial contributions may be made for further research to the Macular Degeneration Association, National Osteoporosis Foundation, Porter Hospice, or Alzheimer’s Association in your area. As an avid reader and natural teacher, Virginia was also supportive of the Arapaho Public Library System. She also was an advocate for research and awareness of heart disease and supported the Heart Association. Virginia loved family, friends, the ocean, and traveling.
Virginia was a resident of Centennial, Colorado and worked as an R.N. at University Hospital (formerly Colorado General), Porter Memorial Hospital, and Swedish Medical Center, where she retired in 1994. She came to Colorado in 1956 and later married Donald Olsen of Englewood, Colorado.
