Virginia Angelica “Maple” Gunn-Marcellin, fondly known as Maple, peacefully passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 87 in Brooklyn, NY. Virginia was born in San Nicolas, Aruba on May 27,1936 to the late Adolphus Rudolph Gunn and Nathalie Eugenie Laveist Gunn.
At a very early age she moved with her grandmother to Trinidad. She returned to Aruba at the age of 18 where she unknowingly worked for her future father-in-law, Barrington Marcellin. …
