Virginia's obituary

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Virginia Jackman (81) of Visalia, CA, on August 20, 2024. She was born on November 25, 1942, the firstborn child of Albert and Jean Heemstra, in Ada, Michigan.

Virginia is survived by her daughters Christine Marté (Andre), Cynthia Ross (Larry), and Carla Goron (Dave) along with her step-son Louis Jackman, Jr. (Tanya) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her sister, Elisabeth Monsma, and her brother, Jeremy Heemstra, mourn the loss of their beloved sibling. She also leaves behind her sweet dog Zoe.

Virginia was predeceased by Louis Jackman, Sr., her loving husband of 26 years, her son John Doughty, her brothers Mark Heemstra, John Heemstra, and Dan Heemstra,  along with her darling dog Poppy. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and their memories added to the richness of her life.
