I'm so sorry for the loss of Ginny. I always think of her whenever I recall my career, she interviewed and hired me for a position at Lake County AB/C Council.  If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would have fallen into my career now.  I will never forget the laughs we had working and she was a great mentor, boss and friend.  We stayed in touch afterwards but the gaps in times grew larger and larger.  I appreciate all the values she taught me in my young career and the exposure of working with the Council and its directives.  I was going through my old phone book and thought we needed to reconnect again,  tried calling and then googled in which I found that she passed.  She thought the world of her kids, Matt and Jennifer, and her grandkids.

I can think of many funny stories and I still have the baby gifts she gave my son for the shower and first birthday :-)

My condolences as she was very precious!

I have known Ginny for 35 years. We have shared do many experiences that it is too long to recount. I first met Ginny at a party she held at her Lincolshire home before she moved to her condo. We became friends and stated together for all these years.

From her Lake County Health dept days, Coldwater Creek and Barnes and Noble days we enjoyed each other's company. When she worked at Coldwater Creek I would often go in and get her help in selecting clothes. She had an uncanny ability to see how everything fit together and the patience to help.

We traveled to Mexico during the Day of the Dead and she searched high and low for gifts for her grandchildren.

She babysat my cats and presented me with an album of beautiful and funny cat pictures that to this day I still enjoy.

I always loved her company because of her smiling face and kind sweet demeanor. Always backing the underdog.

I thought she would be with me forever. And I guess she will be in my heart. You are already missed my dear friend, Ginny.
I , typically had the pleasure of Ginny’s company at fun occasions, holidays, birthdays etc., she made them all the more fun. She is missed
