Virgie's obituary

Virgie Carter 77 formerly of Bogata TX gained her wings on September 7th 2025 at her home in Wasilla Alaska. Virgie was born in Oklahoma on May 10th 1948.

She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Thelma Lope, husband Robert Sidney Carter and a daughter Angela Carter. 

She is survived by her children Kimberly Allen Ballard of Texas , Richard Allen and Miranda Magee of Alaska and Larry and Brandi Carter of Oregon.

13 grandchildren Athina, Tia, Rocky, Kory, Breanna, Angelina, Callie,Hailey, Angebella, Ian, Justice, Carly Jean and Cam

16 great grandchildren Kayla, Sammy, Richard, Kristina, Jayda, Kaylee, Austin, Karter, Braxton, Natyleigh, Genesis, Lucia, Kingston, Elijah, Maverick and Colson

2 great grandsons Larry and Leo

Virgie loved her family with all her heart, there wasn't anything she would not do for them. She made so many friends , and touch so many lives, her passing leaves so many of us with a void that can never be filled . Virgie will be truly missed by many But she will never be forgotten. 

We would like to thank the hospice nurses who helped in her last few days ... And a Special thank you and I love you to 'Maggie' who took care of her every need for her last few years ... Thank you for everything you did to take care of her and for loving her...she loved you as much as the rest of us you are family 💓
