Violet Phillips, born Violet Johnson on April 30, 1944, peacefully passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 79 in Webb City, Missouri. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Violet was an amazing woman who exuded independence and strength in everything she did. Her strong-willed nature was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her remarkable character and unwavering determination.

Violet is survived by her loving children: Johnny Phillips, Lorie Phillips, Donna Barnard, Patricia Reynolds, Angie Jackson, and Dale Phillips. She leaves behind a legacy of 21 cherished grandchildren: Michael Tosh, Kimber Laquet, Kaitlin Phillips, Larken Taylor, Samuel Keller, Heather Keller, David Phillips,Brandy Rentfrow, Dakota Reynolds, Ashley Woodruff, Sarah Fecko, George Fecko, Marcus Edwards, Anthony Edwards, Cameron Edwards, Desmond Edwards, Cierra Edwards, Gabby Edwards, Emily Phillips, Destiny Phillips, and Christian Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Virgil Phillips, her daughter Darlene Clark, and her grandsons Cory Clark, Cody Clark, Christopher Clark, and Tyler Fecko. Violet was also preceded in death by her parents, Osie Owens and Joe Johnson.

A memorial service to celebrate

Violet's life will be held in April of 2024.

Family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of her remarkable life.

Violet Phillips will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her strength, independence, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered. May her soul rest in peace.
