Dear Joy,
Please accept our family’s deepest sympathy on the loss of dear Vinod. I cannot begin to imagine the depth of your grief. I hope you are holding up as well as can be expected. I am so deeply sorry.
Vinod was not just a friend to me; he was a beacon of kindness, honesty, and genuine humanity. His presence in my life was an enormous gift. Vinod was a teacher-coach, confidant, advisor to me and so many others. He saw the goodness in people. He was optimistic during challenging times, and never ceased to make connections, build bridges, nurture relationships. He took a genuine concern about the people in his orbit without asking for anything in return.
During those long drives between Greenville to Atlanta, we would have fantastic conversations. In each, it was abundantly clear that you, Alexa, and Abe were the center of his world. We would talk about international trips with the kids, giving them a perspective about the world they will always carry with them, his partnership with you in life, in twin parenting, in professional obligations. Filled with laughter, wisdom, and insights I will miss those conversations profoundly.
Joy, my heart aches for you, Alexa, and Abe. I hope you find some comfort in knowing how much he was loved and how deeply he impacted those around him. His friendship, his concern, and his love will continue to live on through each of you.
With love to you and the kids, and with sadness. Ted and Carol Manley

Vinod was loved by all at Lima One. I can recall multiple times seeing him rushing through the break room from one meeting to another but he still always found the time for a quick ping-pong game every once in a while.
I am thankful to have met Vinod, my thoughts and prayers are with Joy and their family. He will be missed greatly though I'm sure he's in a better place now - likely relaxing at his own Oak & Honey hangout just beyond our reach.

Vinod, was a special friend of mine. I briefly met Vinod back in the 90’s when we worked at HomeSavings. Then we both worked at LandAmerica in 2000’s. He was my manager, for several years. He was a mentor to me. I learned so much from him over the years and really looked up to him. He was the first person to always offer help and you knew that he wanted you to succeed. He had a genuine heart and he was always there for you. Vinod was an amazing person. I will truly miss him.
My deepest condolences to Joy and the twins (A&A). I pray, that our dear Lord will protect them, I pray that they feel comfort and peace, during this truly difficult time.

New to the USA and with no mortgage experience, Vinod believed in my potential and opened a window for me to start my professional path. A year and a half later, he guided me again and opened a door to greater things. I’ll be forever great full for the step-up you gave me, Vinod. You will be missed.
Joy and A&A, my prayers are with all of you. Hopefully we will see each other soon, or I’ll just be happy seeing you all travel and enjoy the world together. Until then. Sending you all a big HUG, Katia

Vinod was larger than life and I will miss his late night messages just to check in with me to see how I’m doing and to help me find a job. He is an industry leader with a huge heart.
