My uncle stopped talking to us for 9 years.. we never knew he passed until a year later.. crazy I know.
But when he passed he had no next of kin. Which meant for him unfortunately a “state” burial. He has no headstone just a tiny plate. He never got the memorial he deserved and he deserves the best. The state had taken his insurance away so he passed away in negligence of this state by refusing his medical needs and medications. We are utterly devastated and we aren’t expecting anyone to donate but it would much be appreciated to help get him the small memorial and headstone he deserves as we take the time to also grieve the loss of such a amazing role model.
