Father & Daughter Dance  at my wedding-

Dad and I hugged tightly as we danced and bonded over a memory we shared when I was just a baby.  My parents were immigrating to the US in 1983.  I was still too young and fragile to join them for the journey.  My dad had come back for me, and together he and I took an 18 hour flight to reunite with the rest of the family.  It was our very first adventure together.

I laugh at the thought of him carrying me up and down the aisle trying to comfort and console me because I missed my Yaya (Nanny). It was the beginning of our new found relationship.  We have come full circle in those moments of flying alone together on trips and sharing our greatest adventures.  We really loved each other's company so much.  His work for Alaska Airlines allowed us to share these memories, and I am gratefult to have always tried to follow in his footsteps.

I miss you forever Dad -- Thank you so very much for being with me on that deeply meaningful and special flight that changed my life forever.  I pray you had the best flight of all - home to our Lord God. I love you and miss you deeply.
