Vince and his family have been in my constant thoughts since we heard about his passing. I worked with Vince in my capacity at Virginia Tech, but also got to know him and his life outside of the office at different gatherings.  I enjoyed and appreciated each opportunity.  His gentle smile and willingness to share himself with others is what I remember most.  I hope that thought provides that same smile on the faces of his family.
