Message from the family of Ben Reyes:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, ever so witty, biggest of hearts Dad, Papa, Brother, Uncle, Jam out partner, Teammate and Coach, Vincent Reyes, also known as Ben. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024.
Many of you know of our Dad’s journey with Parkinson’s disease for almost 30 years. He was the true testament of a fighter. Someone who endured unfathomable physical challenges daily, yet kept his sense of humor despite it all. Unrelated, and as strong as he was, he managed to fight for his life after surviving a massive heart attack. Unfortunately, our Dad suffered a sudden and unexpected brain bleed. This tremendous loss is comforted knowing he is no longer suffering from Parkinson’s, and that he is reunited with the love of his life, our Mom Emma, and many other family members joined in heaven.
The contributions raised will be used to lay our Dad to rest how he would want it. To gather together to reminisce of the memories, songs, and many laughs shared with him throughout his life here on earth. To celebrate his life with “one more game” filled with love and with laughter.
