Vincent's obituary
Vincent Claude McGill was born to Mike and Alice McGill in St. Louis, Missouri on July 24, 1955. He was educated in the St. Louis Catholic School system. He passed away in the VA hospital in Kansas City Missouri on December 19, 2022.
Vincent enlisted in the United States Navy on August 14, 1972, and was discharged on December 9, 1975. He then returned to St. Louis Missouri for a short period of time before moving to Kansas City Missouri where he lived for 4 years. He then moved to Chicago where he resided for the remainder of his life.
Vincent loved living in Chicago, he loved the lakes, architecture, and the people. He loved to take long walks in nature and play Frisbee with his sons, he truly never forgot to smell the roses.
Vincent was self-employed and enjoyed working with his flowers and customers; regularly handing roses out to strangers just to make their day. He deeply loved his family and was always there when needed.
Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Mike McGill, mother, Alice McGill, brother, Michael McGill Jr., and his son, Rashied Pannell.
He leaves to mourn his passing by his sons, Daniel Talamantes of Robinson IL, Vincent Beale of, Pharoah Pannell of Chicago IL, Dorian Vinaccia of Chicago IL, Solomon Pannell of Chicago IL, and Malachi Vinaccia of Chicago IL. His daughters, Angelica Vinaccia of Chicago IL, and Silver Vinaccia of Chicago IL. His siblings, James Thomas of St. Louis MO, Jessie Walker of Kaymore MO, Jacqulyn Johnson of Kansas City MO, Eugene McGill of Lees Summit MO, Laurence McGill of Kansas City MO, Geneva McGill of Kansas City MO, and Carmen Wilkes of Blue Springs MO. A host of nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
