Vincent Earl Adam Emmendorfer Jr.
August 22, 1951 – December 31, 2025
Vincent Earl Adam Emmendorfer Jr., lovingly known as “Bud,” was born on August 22, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at the age of 74.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Emmendorfer and Evelyn Emmendorfer; his sister Elizabeth (“Betty”) LaMorgese; his brother-in-law Lary LaMorgese; and his stepson Timothy Burkhardt.
He is survived by his devoted life partner of 36 years, Sheila Rock.
Vincent leaves behind his beloved sons Daniel Emmendorfer and Adam Emmendorfer, and his stepsons Douglas Rock and Joseph Burkhardt. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law Vicki Murdock, Jennifer Herd, Jackie Albers, Mallory Rock, Renée Burkhardt, and Kristen Good.
Vincent was a proud and loving grandfather to Collin Emmendorfer, Jenessa Emmendorfer, Elleah Emmendorfer, Jackson Emmendorfer, Darrion Burkhardt, Madelyn Burkhardt, Tyler Burkhardt, Ethan Burkhardt, Arriana Rock, and Tristana Rock, each of whom brought him great joy.
He is survived by his sisters JoAnn Grosberg and Nancy Randazzo, and his brothers-in-law Rick Grosberg and Vincent Randazzo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, too numerous to count, all of whom he loved dearly. And of course, how could we not forget, his loving sidekick Max.
Vincent proudly served his country in both the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Corpsman. He was deeply proud of his military service and was rarely seen without his cherished military baseball cap—a symbol of his honor, service, and pride.
Vincent will be remembered for his loyalty, strength, humor, generosity, and deep love for his family. His legacy of service and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
