Vincent's obituary

It's with great sadness that we announce the death of Vince Billingham, a beloved husband, father, son and brother, on July 28th, 2023. Vince was born on December 5th, 1962, and throughout his 60 years, he lived a life marked by hard work, dedication and unwavering love for his family and country.

Vince is survived by his loving wife Lisa Billingham, and their beloved son Joshua Billingham. His love for family extended to his mother Larie Dillon, his siblings Brent Billingham, Rebecca Trammell, Ginger Vaughn, and Jeff Billingham. He is also remembered by his much loved Uncle Dick Billingham, as well as Larry and Steve Lightfoot and his adored Aunt Jeanie.

A man of great character, Vince's personality was a blend of humor, strength, loyalty and patriotism. He believed in hard work, maintaining a positive outlook, and, above all, his deep-seated love for Jesus. These were not only ideals he lived by but also the lessons he imparted to those around him.

Vince's service to the Airforce for 25 years stands as a testament to his patriotism and his legacy. His love for Jesus, his embodiment of faith and responsibility, his commitment to hard work, respect, and loyalty will be the aspects of his character that would continue to inspire and guide his loved ones.

His love for cooking and food were well known and brought joy to many.

Vince loved his wife and son immensely, his love for his Airforce brothers and church family was deep.

A memorial service to celebrate Vince's life will be held on November 1st, 2023 at 10am at Golden Hills Community Church in Brentwood. His funeral is at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon at 1pm. We invite all who knew and loved Vince to join us as we honor his memory, celebrate his life and carry forward his legacy.

A wonderful father and husband, he will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

John 11:25-26. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die'
