Vidal's obituary
Late Vidal Garcia Garcia, suddenly passed away on Friday November 29th 2024, at the age of 85. He died alongside his beloved wife Maria Guadalupe Salcedo de Garcia and their children: Martin, Veronica, Guadalupe, Jose De Jesus, Rosa Elia, and Juan Ramon, by his side.
He was born in “Las Trojas” Municipal of Tinguindin Michoacan, Mexico, on February 19, 1939, to his father and mother Flora Garcia Segundo and Jose Garcia Quintero. He is the second oldest of four sons and one daughter. At the age of 7 he became his siblings primary caretaker after his mothers sudden passing. Vidal Garcia didn’t have the opportunity for much formal education. The majority of his life he worked the land/farms of Mexico when he was young. Later in his youth he worked as a lumberjack. After finding the love of his life he was granted the opportunity of becoming one of three avocado orchards in the region. For many years Vidal was also the grounds keeper for Tinguindins athletic field, “El Pinalito.” Vidal also owned his very own Mom and Pop store called Rosita.
Late Vidal Garcia was preceded in death by his Wife and 6 children and 15 grandchildren as well as 9 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Vidal Garcia ceremony will be on December 6th 2024, from 4 pm to 7pm. The visitation will be at the Midwest Funeral Home, 5040 South Western Avenue Chicago Illinois, all are invited to attend. There will be a mass service at 10:00 AM Saturday December 7th at St. John/ St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Hammond Indiana, immediately following will be the burial.
