Victoria's obituary

In Loving Memory of Victoria Stewart

Victoria Stewart, aged 58, peacefully passed away on January 13th, 2024. She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Stewart, and their two sons, Chad and Michael (Mick), as well as their cherished dog, Gus. Her siblings, including brother Darryl and Karen Arnsberg residing in Colorado, brother Bill and Alice Arnsberg in Idaho, and sister Debbie Arnsberg and Tim Locke in Cape Girardeau, MO, have all been part of her close-knit family. Additionally, brother-in-law Craig and Janet Stewart make their home in Moscow Mills, and sister-in-law Jan and Kevin Kilcullin reside in St. Charles.

Victoria's love wasn't confined to her immediate family. It also extended to her grandchildren, Sierra and Franky Marie, who brought immense joy and love into her life. Beyond her family, Victoria was deeply connected to several cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with a plethora of close friends who were dear to her. Her memory will forever be cherished by this extensive circle of loved ones who were touched by her warmth, kindness, and selfless nature.

Married in 1988, Victoria and Michael shared 35 years of love and commitment. Their union was a testament to enduring companionship, filled with shared joys and weathered challenges. Victoria's dedication extended beyond her family life into her professional endeavors, where she became known for her particular attention to detail and unwavering work ethic.

Victoria's home mirrored her love for cleanliness and order, but more than that, it radiated the warmth of a welcoming haven. Her joy came from creating an environment where family and friends felt not just welcomed, but truly cherished. Always putting people first, Victoria had a natural desire to shower her loved ones with thoughtful gifts, leaving an enduring impact on those fortunate enough to receive them. Her acts of generosity were a testament to her caring nature and the depth of love she held for those closest to her.

Pink, Victoria's favorite color, decorated various aspects of her life, adding a vibrant touch to her wardrobe, home decor, and the gifts she shared. Her love for the color was symbolic of the warmth and affection she poured into her relationships. Victoria's kindness knew no bounds, and she leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and generosity. Her enduring spirit will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In May of 2022, Victoria was diagnosed with melanoma, a battle she faced with remarkable strength and resilience over the course of two years. Her courage in the face of adversity inspired those around her, and her memory will be a source of strength for her loved ones.

Victoria was predeceased by her parents, June Arnsberg, Paul Stewart, and Doris Stewart, as well as her brother-in-law Keith Stewart and sister-in-law Paula Stewart. In the face of this loss, she is remembered fondly by her surviving family, who will continue to cherish her memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Victoria's life will be held on [TBD] at Baue St. Charles Memorial Gardens. May Victoria rest in eternal peace, her legacy of love and kindness living on in the hearts of those she touched.
