It is with profound sadness that we offer a final farewell to our beloved Victoria Maile, who entered into rest on November 4, 2023. Born on August 30, 1952, Victoria carried out a life of love, kindness, and endless strength. Her commitment to service was a beacon of hope for many, and she will be dearly missed.

Victoria was born in Roanoke, Virginia and is survived by her mother Aslean Patterson-Robinson, her daughter Monique Maile-La Motte, son Christopher Colbert, son-in law Edgar La Motte Welch and her siblings; Darlean Fraga and William Patterson. She was blessed with a loving family that also includes her grandchildren; Justice Maile-Estrella, Janelle Colbert, Jaidyn Klosek, Christopher Colbert Jr., Claridy Colbert, and Chiave Colbert. She held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews; Armando Fraga Jr., Christine French, Sarah Fraga, Michelle Brackett, LaVerne Watts, LaToya Gant, and William Patterson-Hatem. Predeceased by her loving brothers Vincent and Daniel Patterson, and her stepfather Lloyd Robinson, she now reunites with them in eternal peace.

Victoria attended New Bethel A.M.E. Church and joined her daughter volunteering for those in need with The Salvation Army. Noted for her thoughtful, ambitious, and independent nature, Victoria held a heart full of fierce determination and her resilience and strength will be a significant part of her enduring legacy.

While there are so many more, extended family members and friends, to mention, we thank you all for your condolences and invite you to join us in honoring Victoria with a memorial service to be held on December 1, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the Crossroads Community Cathedral, 1492 Silver Lane in East Hartford, CT 06118.
