Victoria was a graduate of Johnson Senior High School. She was known for her loving and gentle spirit, her warm presence, and the way she was always available to be there for others. Her friendships were one of the greatest joys of her life. She truly cared about the people around her, their happiness, their struggles, and their stories. To know her was to be welcomed, understood, and accepted.
Victoria had a deep love for her city. She especially cherished her years living downtown St. Paul along the Mississippi River, where she found peace, beauty, and a sense of home. She loved traveling, cooking, and being surrounded by the people she cared about. Helping others came naturally to her, whether through a conversation, a meal, a prayer, or simply her time and presence.
She loved Jesus and carried a strong Christian faith throughout her life, believing in Heaven and in the joy of being reunited with those who have gone before.
She is survived by her mother, Flora Larson; her son, Antonio Castro; her grandchildren, Antonio and Agustín; her daughter-in-law, Adaluz; and her partner of 25 years, Adrian Rangel. She is preceded in death by her father Harold Larson and her brother Gary Larson.
What will be remembered most about Victoria is the happiness she found through connection, catching up with friends, going out to eat, laughing, talking, and simply being together. Her love for Jesus and her love for her family guided her life. Her relationships were her heart, and she cherished them deeply.
Victoria will be missed beyond words and loved forever.
