Victoria Jane Blackmon, 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 16, 2024. Vickie was born in Whitesburg, KY to Arlie and Mittie Brock. She grew up in a large family with many siblings - Buford, Ruth, Levon, Henry, Berneice, Earlene, June, Ann, Peggy, Ellen, Arlene, and Arlie Jr.. Vickie is preceded in death by her husband Earnest “Bill” Blackmon, daughter Dawn Bourne, and daughter-in-law Rebecca Stallard. She is survived by children Gary (Vicky) Stallard, Sharon (Allen) Deibel, and Donna (Mark) Wicklein, as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Vickie worked as a beautician, owning her own salon before working at and retiring from Indianapolis Life Insurance Company. She opened her home and her heart to those who called her their second mom and she loved them like they were her own.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 22 from 11am-1pm with funeral immediately following at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon, Indiana.
