Background
My dad had been struggling with a life changing injury for the last two years. He fought for two years to try and regain mobility and some semblance of his old life back. Everyday was a challenge both physically and mentally. Even though I knew that he was hurting whenever I would go see him he would smile and ask me how my day was, did I eat yet, or how is the rest of the family doing. That is the kind of man my father was. A hard working strong man who always put others before himself.
Unfortunately it seems that his fight ended with respiratory complications that happened overnight while his Nursing home staff stopped checking up on him. This sudden change in health is rather alarming and was unexpected. This fundraiser would help me get his autopsy done so I can understand if his health was from natural causes or something else. It will also help support funeral service cost and transportation to the funeral home.
