Remembering Victor E. Lezza Jr.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victor E. Lezza Jr., who left us on July 14, 2025, at the age of 81. Victor was a man of remarkable strength and charisma, whose infectious spirit touched everyone he met.
Born on September 13, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, Victor was a man who knew how to live fully, always with a joke to make and a story to tell. He proudly carried on the family legacy as one of the third-generation owners of Lezza Spumoni and Desserts. Beyond his work, Victor was a formidable opponent at any card table and found great joy in classic Western movies. Victor’s hearty laugh and enduring love will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
Victor is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Sherry Lezza (nee Nauertz); his children, Louis Lezza, Victor (Kaveria) Lezza, Anna (Tony) Cruz, Anthony Lezza, Salvatore (Carrie) Lezza; his grandchildren, Angela Rose, Danilo, Meka, Louis, Vittorio, Benicio, Santino, Brooklyn, Dakota, Atonia, Anthony, Myah ; his great-grandchildren Mateo and Enzo, Anthony and Ava; his brother Edward (Eleanor) Lezza, Jack (Theresa) Lezza; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor Lezza Sr. and Rosemarie Lezza (nee Oliva); and his sister, Lucille (Michael) O’Shea (nee Lezza).
While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life lived to the fullest, a life that truly made a difference. Victor will be profoundly missed, but his strong spirit and loving legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
