It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vickie "Corky" Lais on June 8, 2023. Born on December 16, 1957, Vickie was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Though she was also known as Vickie, she preferred to be called Corky.

Vickie leaves behind a loving family who will cherish their memories of her. She is survived by her daughters, Seonaid Lais-Bossert and Dana Lais-Bossert; her sister, Lynn Miller; her brother in law, Lefty Miller; her niece, Kelly Miller; her nephew, John Miller; her grandchildren, Odeya Baker, Jada Johnston, and Darren Bossert; other dear family members, Dylan Baker and Josh Jochims and many more. Vickie was predeceased by her father, Victor Lais, her mother Mary Lais, and John W. Bossert.

Vickie will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering love for her family. Her memory will live on through the lives of those she touched, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
