Vickie's obituary

Vickie, Mom, Gigi was a ball of spunk for much of her life. She was a prankster, silly, and loved few things more than a laugh (often at your expense!). Most people who knew her marked this as her defining characteristic. Her children grew up with the distinct trauma of not trusting a corner because you never knew when she might be waiting to jump out at you! She was also known for her intense love of dogs. She grew up with dogs and gave the gift of dogs in the home to Mandy and David. She shared her life with her pups in such a profoundly precious way that any dog who was lucky enough to be hers won the doggie lottery.

Our mom was free with acts of affection and words that expressed her love. We never knew a life where she was stingy with this. She tucked us into bed until college and never let a call end without us knowing she loved us. She expressed this so well that we never doubted she was our biggest fan. This detail extended to her five grandkids as well.
