Vickie's obituary
On Wednesday March 01, 2023 Vickie Brant Collins was freed from all pain and worldly concerns to transcend and become an Angel in heaven, which was also the role she undertook with such grace throughout her time spent here on earth.
Vickie lived to please others and did so as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and the role that brought her the greatest joy of all, grandmother.
She knew all of her grandkid's favorite foods, games, tv shows and activities, always making Grandma’s house THE place to be for Taylor, Emily, Alex, Charlotte and Jack.
Vickie was also the consummate party planner and every special event and birthday called for a very elaborate and meticulously planned and decorated party to make the recipient feel so special.
Christmas was also a wonderful time to be at Vickie’s house and the years the family also included her parents Cal and Lillian were such special gatherings filled with gifts, traditions, food, drink, laughter and lot’s of love.
There were also many fun family trips taken including camping, Lake Chelan, horse races, Disneyland, concerts and others. The thing these outings all had in common is that Vickie was usually the one doing all the planning and preparing to ensure a great time was had by all.
Vickie Brant Collins was a very beautiful, kind and caring woman as was her mother and are her four daughters Laurie, Kelli, Kristi and Brooke. Her smile and eyes were so radiant and full of love and life. It is that radiance and beauty that will continue to shine in the hearts of everyone who had the good fortune of having Vickie be a part of their lives.
