I’m just now receiving this news. Tom, we are very sorry for your loss. Vicki, “Grandma Vicki,” will always hold a special place in our family’s hearts. 

Dearest Vicki, how I will miss you and our text and your forever support of me even if we looked at the world at times differently.  It was only today I found out you were gone but I have tried for weeks. It never dawned on me that you would be go but not hearing anything for over a week had me worried.  You never complained no matter what you were going through. Instead you concentrated on how wonderful your Tom was in his care of you, your family and being able to get out again.

The world has lost a shining light and I have lost a wonderful friend. I hope the photos of my flowers and our text gave you some escape this past year.

I will remember the times we spent together, over at Hoods Canal and at Lake Washington house and Priest Lake. Thank you for being a wonderful wonderful friend whom I will never forget and will always love . 

You will always be in my heart. Thank you and please forgive me for not realizing how ill you were.  You were just too darn positive.  I thought I had lots of time to come visit.

I am so saddened by the passing of my great friend since 6th grade!!!  Too many memories to list but thats what I'm so thankful for--alot of great memories!  And we texted every day up until the week before she passed.  Thats a whole lot of texts!  We were just waiting for her to feel a little better so we could meet for lunch again like we did last year.    Some day we will still meet for that lunch and she'll be feeling so much better!  Love you, my dear friend!  Til we meet again--I'll think of you every day!
