When playing sports in school, Vicki picked me up numerous times and gave me rides to the games because my Dad worked and my mom didn't drive.  She was always so kind, told funny stories never expected anything in return.  She was a special lady.  Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.  RIP Vicki

I remember “going home” to Dayton with Bobby. Gathering people in a single place and time is nearly impossible, it’s like herding cats.

If you are fortunate enough to land at a family gathering, you will find yourself in the presence of at least one loving being who is the glue. Vicky was the glue.

Through so many loving deeds, thoughtful gestures, comfort food and warm laughter she worked her magic to pull everyone together and make you feel welcome.

Living out her legacy, we can all be the glue! Find ways to connect, nourish, and laugh together. 💕🙏

I remember once when I was little .. me Mike... grandma Vicki.. and great grandma Shirley were on our way to the flea market.. we take like the country roads out there. Great grandma was driving and grandma was in the front seat.. we come to this big hill in the road and right wehn you crest the top of the hill dropped back down real steep.. both of them gasped at the same time because they thought we were driving off a cliff.. it was the funniest thing ever 🤣

This is a Sad Day for me! Vicki was the Best Mother and Friend . She was like a second Mother to my younger Brother and I. She took us on Camping trips and She  always let us eat dinner with her and , her  Family. I envied  her Daughter because, I wish that my Mother was more like her. I will never forget the simple things that she did for my Brother and I. We were so blessed ,to have her when we were younger. She will be deeply missed! My thoughts and Prayers are with you Bobbie.

I remember when I was young we would go roller skating in Huber Heights. Then over the years we would do ceramics making Christmas ornaments. We had fun working together at NCR. The Christmas that we had a fire at our house we came and lived with you guys for two weeks. Vicki would do anything to help you out. I am so sorry for your loss. ❤️❤️

Vicki was one of the nicest people you would ever meet! I played baseball with her kids Danny and Bobbie.  She had a funny side some people didn’t see but I was over there alot. I used to play music in a band in her garage with my band and when it was time to quit she would come out and give us the look! lol! A serious look like we was in trouble for playing to late! I used to hang out with Danny a lot and I would come over and she would scare me to death with the look 👀 lol but most the time after that she would smile and I would laugh and so would she lol! She meant business but I realized that she had a funny side that would just tickle me silly when I’d see her. She was a great person and I will miss her dearly

I suppose no else has memories of Vicki going back as far as I do. I remember going to visit my Dad and her mom when Shirley was pregnant with Vicki. After she got a little older she would come and visit us on weekends in East Dayton. In our side yard we would play baseball and kickball and freeze tag. She and my sister Pam would play together more than she and I. She was younger and 9 yr old boys tend to ignore 5 yr old sisters I suppose. Sometimes we would play board games or a game of pool in our basement. When we moved to New Carlisle she would come up in the summer and go swimming with us at the local pool. I can remember my dismay at her and Pam giggling constantly on the front porch of our house. Big brothers are dense that way I guess. Then sometime in the early 60s she stopped coming over. I thought we were told she was being adopted by her mom’s new husband and she was gone from our lives. I often wondered where she was and how she was doing but I doubted I would ever find out with the way adoptions and such work. Thanks to my partner Deb, Ancestry and facebook we were able to find her again in 2020 about 55 years after I had last seen her. This past October I finally got back to Dayton and we were able to get together in a wonderful reunion. We talked of old times and new times and laughed and had a good dinner. It meant the world to me to see her again. I wish that we had more time to get to know one another again and I wish I had been there as a big brother for her.

Oh I am so sorry to hear this Bobbie! Every time I picture her she has a smile on her face because we were all so silly stupid and she had no choice but to laugh! How absolutely heartbreaking! Hugs to you!!!
