Vicki Lynn Vick, 64, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on July 13, 2025. Born on September 23, 1960, Vicki was a graduate of Hazelwood West High School, furthered her education at Northeast Missouri State University where she received her BS in Computer Science. Vicki dedicated 25 years of her career as a clerk typist for the St. Tammany Parish School Board, where her diligence and commitment to service were deeply valued.

Known for her radiant personality, Vicki possessed the unique ability to light up any room she entered. Her presence was a comfort and joy to those around her, making everyone feel welcomed and loved. Vicki's selflessness was evident through her actions, always going above and beyond for others without expecting anything in return. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and mawmaw, cherishing her role deeply and embracing every moment with her family.

Vicki is survived by her loving family: parents, Donald and Frances Person; sister, Donna Person; daughters, Jennifer Vick and Kristina Shafer; son-in-law, Mike Shafer; daughter, Stephanie Patel; son-in-law, Neel Patel; and grandchildren, Grace Richard, Kyleigh Shafer, and Caden Shafer.

Vicki's interests included traveling, frequent visits to Disney parks, watching Hallmark movies, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, and enjoying cruises. She was also an avid LSU fan and cheered on the Tigers any chance they were playing. These activities reflected her adventurous spirit and love for spending quality time with her family.

Vicki will be remembered as a remarkable woman whose legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will continue to inspire all who knew her.
