Vicki L. Roberts was born on October 15, 1947, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Connie Beck. She passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home, surrounded by family.

Vicki is survived by her brother, Scott (Renae) of Oklahoma; her children, Brad of Arizona, Michelle of Sioux City, and Jeff of California; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Katelyn, both of Sioux City; and her great-granddaughter, Emery of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Roberts; her mother, Connie Beck; her brother, Mike Malloy; her grandson, Joshua Hansen; and her grandparents, Fred and Jessie Emmert.

A dedicated leader in Kiwanis and Aktion Club, Vicki took great pride in attending every meeting, regardless of the weather, until her health no longer allowed it. Her commitment to these organizations reflected her passion for service and community involvement.

Vicki was a devoted caretaker who always put the needs of others before her own. She had a profound influence on high school students in both California and Iowa, leaving behind a legacy of encouragement and support. In her earlier years, she enjoyed sewing, thrift shopping, and rescuing dogs.

Her dedication to others and the love she shared with family and friends will be cherished forever. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.

Honoring her wishes, Vicki chose to donate her body to science. A memorial service will be held on March 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Newell, Iowa.
