Hard to wrap my head around the fact it's been a year. As I think on that...I grin...why?...she has been in heaven for 367 'days' (time is a nonword in glory). We grieve, but not a the world grieves. We don't understand (I often think of the pastors 'why?'....."Why?....WHY??????). But we do understand that our Father is good, does good, and will do good. I look forward to seeing her again "one glad morning..."

I first met Ronni during our freshman year when we lived across the hall from each other. I will always remember her bright spirit lighting up any room she was in! She will be missed by everyone she crossed paths with.

Ronni was in the group of the first students I hired at McCartney Library. We spent many hours together each semester and even one summer. We shared our love of reading, books and libraries. Her vibrant personality and joyful smile just radiated. She truly was created in the image of Christ. I am incredibly heartbroken for her loss and for the loss that Michael and her family are going through. May the Lord surround you and comfort you as you grieve.

What all of us want to be said of us at the end of a long life of walking with the Lord was already embodied by this remarkable young woman: humble, bright, kind, joyful, loyal, wise, loving, giving. I admired her in many ways, especially her purity of heart and the calming, grounding presence she was for her classmates at Geneva. Prayers for your deep loss and lament, even as we await reuniting with her beautiful spirit in Jesus' presence.

Ronni was such a beautiful, kind, and loving person. As a Humanities TA she always happily helped where ever she was needed. Anytime I saw her on campus, she was always smiling, and making others smile. My deepest condolences to the family and prayers for God's strength and comfort.

Ronnie was such a gentle soul. I had a lot of classes with her, and she was smart, intelligent, and so passionate about her hobbies.
The world lost such an amazing person.

Ronni was such a fun, colorful and happy presence on our PIE team at Portage. It was an absolute joy to work with her! She was so consistent, positive, willing to try anything and would always deliver above and beyond with tremendous quality. She will be dearly missed on our team and in the office. I loved talking to her about anything and everything; fun socks, thrifting, going to the back door tavern with her family and funny observations she would make in the office. I'm so sad and sorry that she has passed, but i'm so glad she knew Jesus. We will never forget the impact she had here with us, she was special indeed.

Ronni was first my student, then my TA, and ultimately my dear friend. I owed her a great debt for her loving, faithful care of me during the last challenging days of my teaching career. How wise she was, how capable, how kind. I know I speak for the Humanities 103 Teaching Team of Geneva College when I say, "Well done, Ronni. You have shown us how to pursue the good life." We profoundly lament this loss. May the Lord be with you, Michael, and with the entire family. May He bind up your broken hearts.
