It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Veronica "Ronnie" Foissett on August 13, 2023. Born on December 3, 1937, Veronica lived a fulfilling life filled with strength, kindness, and compassion. Though sometimes known as Ronnie, she preferred Veronica.

A woman of many interests, Veronica had a passion for simple pleasures in life. She loved indulging in Lays Chips and Pizza and sipping her favorite Hot Tea, Coffee, and Soda. She found pleasure in the melodious tunes of Michael Bolton, Kenny Rogers, and Rod Stewart. A die-hard fan of the Mets, Veronica always cheered for her team with fervor.

Veronica was known for her love of the color Brown, which extended from her fashion choices to the decor in her home. She was a fun-loving spirit and found joy in playing Bingo. However, it was her kind, easygoing and caring personality that resonated with everyone who crossed her path.

Veronica's wisdom was always treasured by those around her. Her lessons of always being on time and being nice to others will be carried on by the loved ones she has left behind. She took the greatest pride in her kids, which she considered among her most significant accomplishments.

Veronica's legacy of strength and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her for years to come. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Tracy Foissett, who cherishes the strength and love that her mother imparted on her.

Though Veronica is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. She was a shining light in this world, and her presence will be greatly missed.
