Obituary
Vernon Reece Loucks Jr, age 86, of Sewickley, PA, and formerly of Lake Forest, IL died peacefully on Sunday, August 8. He was the beloved husband of Barbara “Bunny” Hoffman Loucks, former husband of Linda Olson Loucks, brother to Sue Ellen Loucks Williamson, and loving father to Charles Loucks (Julie), Gregory Srodon (Jane), Susan Adams, David Loucks (Anne), Eric Loucks (Dena), Kristi Loucks, Trip Hoffman, and Wendy Burchfield (Peter). There will be a service in Chicago sometime this fall (late October-early November) and we will be sharing updates as those plans are finalized. He was larger than life and meant so much to so many people, and in turn there are so many people here in Chicago and everywhere he went who meant a great deal to him so we are looking forward to celebrating a life well lived with anyone who wishes to join us.
