Vernon Emerson  Cole, 69, of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on October 20, 2022 after a short battle with cancer. He will be missed immensely by his family, and friends. 

Vernon was born on March 12, 1953 to Gordon and Ethyl “Jane” Cole in Altamonte Springs, Florida.  Vernon was predeceased by his Father, Mother, and brother Frankie. He is survived by his partner Patty, his daughter Crista (Kristopher),  his grandson Ian, as well as his brothers Fred (Cathie) and Don (Susan), and his nieces and nephews, Rick, Tina, Angel, Michelle, Jeff, and Janelle. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Vern’s name.

It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.

Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?

I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,

Just around the corner.
