Verna Ann Powell (formerly Gard, née Williams), 71, of Henderson Nevada, formerly of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away on November 3, 2021 after a long battle with Lung cancer. Given a hard prognosis of a few months, she took it and stretched it out for 3 years because she wasn’t finished being a great grandma yet.
