It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vera Warren (Lakey), who left us on May 9, 2024, at the age of 79. Vera, a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, was born on Jun 4, 1944, in Oroville, California, to Ivy and Lorraine Lakey.

Vera will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Stanley Warren; her loving sons, Allen and James Strahan; her caring daughter, Brenda Strahan; and a host of siblings - Lucille Heuther, Ceatress Dodge, Helen Hoskins, Judy Nielsen, Michael Lakey, Dale Lakey,  Rebecca Lakey, and Lori Anderson.

She will be greeted in heaven, those who had passed before her, her father Ivy Lakey, her mother Lorraine Lakey, her sister Cindy Lakey, and her brother William Lakey.

Even as we mourn the loss of Vera, we celebrate her life, her enduring spirit, strength, resilience, and the precious memories that she has left behind. Her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her legacy will continue to live on through the lives of all those she touched.
