Vera and I met in in the eighth grade at Monroe junior high school, we were both on the drill team. Vera was always very beautiful, and had a head full of hair as  a lions mane.We then went to high school at Inglewood high. We kept in touch briefly after high school, I got married shortly there after, when I divorced, we reconnected just in time to be old enough to go to the nightclubs. We would go dancing in Westwood, everywhere, house parties, we had a ball, that’s when Venice beach was super fun, and there was no curfew at night for being on the beach. eventually Vera and I drifted apart and it was many years before we reconnected again. Both of our lives have changed drastically, and we had many different experiences. We always said we were going to meet for lunch, but it never happened. I had responsibilities, and then Vera started becoming sick , we would chat here and there and laugh and share stories. I will keep those good memories. Life is short and none of us are perfect. I’ll remember your laugh. I hope you send a sign . ,we used to talk about things like that. No more pain and suffering, you’ll have the answers that all of us  can only be  curious about. our spirits will meet again one day. He will be remembered.🕊️

My heart goes out to her family. I knew her many years ago because she was part of my family for a time. I always remembered as the kindest and sweet loving person that would always greet you with a hug and a smile. She died too young, yet God probably had plans for her in Heaven. God bless you, Vera.
