Vera Lorene Clark Henry, 54, of Compton, California, passed away on 02/08/2022.

She was born to parents Jacqueline S. Clark and George Henry Clark, Jr., on 01/21/1968 in Los Angeles, California.

She graduated from Huntington Park Senior High in 1986.

Vera had 2 children: Brian Marquis Henry and Kendall Marquelle Henry.

Vera is survived by Duane Clark, George Clark, Terri Clark, Kristian Henry, Kory Henry, Kash Henry, Elijah Henry, Stacy Clark, Phillip Marshall, Laurie Marshall, Michele Clark, Verdell Clark, Alexis Sanders, Torey Florence, Mary Jane Florence, Kwesi Florence, Kenneth Henry, Anthony Henry, Sharice Henry Lamb, Michael Henry, Ericka Henry, George Henry Jr., Harvetta Henry, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by Jacqueline S. Clark, George Henry Clark Jr., Vera K. Sanders, Melvin Clark, Howard Sanders Sr., George Henry Clark, Sr., Patrick G. Henry, and Mary Odessa Sampson Henry.

The family has entrusted Destiny Funeral Home and Crematorium for the Memorial Service on April 8, 2022, at 11:00 am at 5443 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90805 with the arrangements, and Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home is scheduled for April 16, 2022, at 11:00 am at 1209 Live Oak St, Commerce, TX 75428. A reception will follow at the Norris Community Center located at 1007 Ross St, Commerce, TX 75428. Anthony G. Henry will officiate the ceremony.
