Velma Hartlow Starke Webb, 76, of Atlanta Georgia, previously of Jacksonville Illinois passed away Saturday, March 8th(2014) at her daughters house.
Velma was born January 23rd, 1938 in Springfield Illinois, a daughter of Robert and Fran Jackson Hartlow. She married David Starke on March 23 1950 in Aurora Illinois and later Gerald Webb, they both proceeded her in death.
Velma was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, shopping, and most of all spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter Georgia Hartlow of Atlanta Georgia, two grandchildren Joshua Bridgeton of Macon Georgia and Savannah Hartlow of Atlanta Georgia. Also surviving are many brother and sister in-laws
Velma was proceeded in death by her parents, two spouses, and a sister Vanetta Lopez.
Private services will be held at a later time. Cremation rights are being accorded.
Memorials may be made to the charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
