Velma Davis, a beloved sister and friend, passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 47. Born on August 10, 1975, in Osceola, Arkansas, Velma was a dedicated nurse who touched the lives of many with her gentle and caring demeanor.

Velma is survived by her mother Lenora Lee Davis, One brother Virgil Lee Davis Sr, a nephew Virgil Lee Davis Jr. and a large extended family.  Losing her is a deep loss for the entire community, as she was always known to be polite, kind, and good-hearted.

As a nurse, Velma brought comfort and care to all her patients. Her dedication to helping others was a testament to her compassionate nature, and her warm smile never failed to brighten the days of those around her.

In her free time, Velma was a talented painter and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Her artistic skills allowed her to capture the beauty of the world around her, and her works of art will continue to be a cherished reminder of her incredible spirit.

Velma's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her kindness, caring, and love will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a lasting legacy, as the impact she made on the lives of so many will always be remembered.

Services for Velma will be held April 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Bethel Church of Osceola, followed by the Burial at Whiteside Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at the home of Margie Jones from 3-6 pm, where all family and friends are welcome to attend.
