Vaughn's obituary
Vaughn W. Huntoon, 59, of Franklin, New Hampshire, entered into eternal rest on December 21, 2025, in Concord, New Hampshire.
Vaughn was born on December 9, 1966, in Bangor, Maine. He spent most of his life in Beverly, Massachusetts, a place that shaped many of his years and memories, before later residing in Franklin, New Hampshire.
He was the beloved son of Judith Mabie and Ron Mabie, both of whom predeceased him.
Vaughn was a devoted father to Meaghan Huntoon, Lauren Blackmon, and Sean Shaw, and a loving grandfather to Jaxson Young, Leland Burnett, Olivia Burnett, Audry Burnett, Emma Shaw, and Ryder Shaw, all of whom were a source of great joy and pride in his life.
A skilled machinist by trade, Vaughn was known for being exceptionally mechanically inclined. He had a God-given talent for understanding how things worked and could fix just about anything, especially cars. He took pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Vaughn was a Christian man whose faith guided his life and values. He carried himself with kindness, humility, and a gentle spirit that reflected his beliefs. He had a deep love for music, NASCAR, and animals, and he was known for his great sense of humor—often making others laugh without even trying. His warmth and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Vaughn is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who went before him, resting in the promise of eternal life. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but they take comfort in knowing he is in God’s care.
