Vance always had a special place in my heart. This news saddens me beyond belief. 

 I swear he always had me laughing and would try his hardest to hustle me- I smile just thinking about it. In Vance I saw a gentle soul, he would do anything for anyone and always had a smile on his face.

 I remember him preparing for this trip (the picture) and being so excited to see his daughter. I think I even remember him telling me that He traveled all that way and still wouldn't touch the water!

I still have a picture he gave me hanging in my office and now, it's just that much more meaningful. I'm glad to have had the chance to meet him, spend time with him, and work with him. 

He will always be remembered. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.  RIP Vance, I hope your soul is at peace.
