Valerie's obituary

Valerie A. Rubendall, 70, of Concord and Citrus Heights, CA, passed away on February 14th, 2021, survived by her husband Bill Rubendall.

Valerie, born on December 8, 1950 to Helen & Nicholas Armenis in Los Alamos, New Mexico, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Valerie went on to graduate from Loretto Academy in 1968 as an honor student. After graduating from high school, Valerie went on to pursue a degree in History at Mills College in Oakland, CA.

On September 29, 1968, she met Bill and the two were inseparable from that point on. Valerie and Bill were married for 50 years and had three children, Gregory, Geoffrey & Carolyn.

Valerie was a passionate mom to all of her children, raising all three of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Valerie, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Valerie was predeceased by Helen & Nicholas (parents). She is survived by Bill (husband), children Greg (Vickie), Geoff (Michelle), Carrie (Rich), grandchildren Zoe, Benjamin, and pets Felix (cat), and Kapernick (dog).

Valerie's family will be holding a Celebration of Life for her on Saturday, March 6th via Zoom at 11 am.
