Valerie Oliver Monaco of Hobe Sound, Florida, formerly of Verona, New Jersey, passed away on November 12th, 2024. Valerie was born on April 20th, 1940, to the late Anthony and Dorothy Oliver. She attended Seton Hall University, and the University of the State of New York, and practiced as a Registered Nurse for 35 years before retiring in 2000. Valerie was married to her beloved husband, David, for 63 years. She is survived by her daughters, Robyn Monaco and Dr. Karen Monaco. Her son, Christopher John Monaco is pre-deceased. Valerie leaves two granddaughters, Victoria Calvert (Brian) and Antonia Zeefeldt (Harrison) and great-grandson William Calvert. A memorial mass will be held on December 19th, 2024, at 10:30am at Saint Christopher Catholic Church, 12001 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound, Florida 33455. Repast will be held immediately following at the American Legion, 2000 SE Fischer Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
