Valerie Milot, 77, of Palm Springs, CA passed away on January 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving pets, including her 2 standard poodles, Julie and Gigi.

She is survived by her 3 children. 

Valerie was a graduate of Fordham University, class of 1986, as well as  medical professional who dedicated her life to serving others as a social worker.

After retiring from a career of social work, Valerie was able to pursue her artistic interests, and continued to contribute to her community through her artistic expression. Valerie was a skilled jewelry maker, who enjoyed working with natural stones.  In addition to jewelry making, she excelled via acrylic on canvas, her main body of work being portraits, including David Bowie and Bob Marley. Valerie had her art displayed at The Fusion Gallery in Palm Springs, The Desert Art Center, as well as the Palm Springs Art Museum  which featured  her work "Tiger Lady".  

Valerie spent her life in the pursuit of education and of service of others, and always inspired me to do better, go farther. Thank you for being you, you will be dearly missed.  ❤️
